Damián Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Dewaele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Dewaele in the 25th minute of play. Mario Dewaeles short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Dewaele kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Dewaele's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute RockCity F.C. were awarded a corner. Daniel Trynda went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Damián Diaz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Fabian Reborio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Mario Dewaele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Dewaele. Ramiro Larrea replaced Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs. RockCity F.C.'s Félix Cisneros was substituted for Bagui Barrasa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Dewaele in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Damián Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zayveon Quiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zayveon Quiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dewaele in the 92nd minute of play.
