Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cavalerii Viola's He Shu Xun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Mugurel Puișoru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Yuri Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Cavalerii Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mugurel Puișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, He Shu Xun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugurel Puișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Shu Xun got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Cavalerii Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mugurel Puișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iván Győrfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Yuri Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavalerii Viola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cavalerii Viola's Yuri Tasso got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Shu Xun in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Iván Győrfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Győrfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Iván Győrfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Horaţiu Hogaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Mugurel Puișoru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Cavalerii Viola getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Iker Galo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mugurel Puișoru to make any attempt to save it. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Cavalerii Viola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After 85 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Cavalerii Viola players grew even worse after the yellow card. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Cavalerii Viola were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
