The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fabiano Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time DREAM TEAM WORLD's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on DREAM TEAM WORLD's corner Luiz Fabiano Castro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Lu Zhen Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of the match. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Luiz Fabiano Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Koča Kafarov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Day. That made the score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Paulo Jon was substituted for Elpidio Curcio. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Zachariasz Psotka was substituted for Héctor Adomaitis. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 74th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koča Kafarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 91st minute of play. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
