Waldir da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romon Oliver in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Leron Sale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir da Mata. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir da Mata should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CE LAJEADENSE RS's Waldir da Mata. Waldir da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
