After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reinaldo Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 20th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Abel Ramalho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Kevin Mastache made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santino Seco. 38 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andres Ekhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 44th minute.

Ricart Futebol Clube made a substitution. Eusebio Hori replaced Abel Ramalho. 53 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Hori got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 76 minutes, Eusebio Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Hori in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Hori got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Hori came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ricart Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
