Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方磊耀, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on 广西来宾剑鱼代表队's corner 方磊耀 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, 广西来宾剑鱼代表队's 方磊耀 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 方磊耀 in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 方磊耀 was slow to take the kick. During this time 广西来宾剑鱼代表队's players had a chance to rest. In the 60th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 蒋青洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 蒋青洲 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 蒋青洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 方磊耀 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind 广西来宾剑鱼代表队's goalkeeper 蒋青洲, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
