Alexandre Paz Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kang Ying Hai having to interfere. In the 20th minute Mikolaj Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Paim Belluci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Geambașu in the 24th minute of play. Murilo Barros Rosa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Kang Ying Hai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil. In the last second Kang Ying Hai throw himself and got hold of the ball when Murilo Barros Rosa in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Giertych in the 34th minute of play. Mikolaj Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Rafael Machado Cardoso in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Enrique Gaur. In the 41st minute ..Villa Rugby Club.. were awarded a corner. Ramiro Lleir went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ramiro Lleir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci did a great save. Heitor Paim Belluci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Giertych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
