Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Atilano Quinten made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Los Delfines got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomáš Kožený ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Quinten in the 6th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arquímedes Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Hilario Asteri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Kožený came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matías Patrone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomáš Kožený fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 24th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Hilario Asteri made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Hilario Asteri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arquímedes Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of the match. The Los Delfines players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arquímedes Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arquímedes Cesario couldn't finish the play. Los Delfines made a substitution. Ambrosio Bartolome replaced Tomáš Kožený. Los Delfines's Saverio Regis was substituted for Atilano Quinten. 59 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Matías Patrone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oliver Bierhoff took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Oliver Bierhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Ignacio Mastache scored to the left of an out of position Matías Patrone, making the score, 4-3. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ignacio Mastache hit a great ball. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Los Delfines's Oscar Orzaize couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Colombia. Oliver Bierhoff scored 5-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 93rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Bierhoff went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Delfines fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
