The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edson Mendes made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Edson Mendes got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dário Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Dário Viana got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abel Reis hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, one of Olivedos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olivedos. Jaime Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Valadares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olivedos's Antônio Carlos Valadares managed to work through Uruguay's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Antônio Carlos Valadares dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Olivedos's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Mineiro came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Víktor Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víktor Mineiro was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Víktor Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Víktor Mineiro was a little too slow when Maximiliano Escribano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Camilo Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Víktor Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Dário Viana. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 65th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Víktor Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dário Viana hit a great ball. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 67th minute of the match. Víktor Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Víktor Mineiro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 82 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Víktor Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 86th minute of the match. Albertinho Cavalcante hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, Uruguay's Camilo Franco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Víktor Mineiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. 89 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Víktor Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 90th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Abel Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivedos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Abel Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Uruguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
