The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Badilla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. Hardeep Kunt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Badilla. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Badilla in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fede Saron was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hardeep Kunt to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Badilla in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Aurelio Badilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1.
