Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Albert Rutledge made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Stabbe to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Albert Rutledge got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Felix Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Martinsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Jens-Ove Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Osvald Uter came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvald Uter couldn't finish the play. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Martinsson having to interfere. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Albert Rutledge took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Felix Martinsson. LA VIOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Albert Rutledge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Felix Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gottfrid Brenner struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA VIOLA. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Felix Martinsson. LA VIOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
