An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 15th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Iniesta who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Cui Ling Jing managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Fonseca in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pesqueira City's Cui Ling Jing got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Quintal. 34 minutes into the game, Fabian Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pesqueira City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. A collision led to Pesqueira City getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fabian Hansson hit a great ball. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Carballar got free with Mădălin Lunca in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 53rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mădălin Lunca saved Pesqueira City from getting behind. Mădălin Lunca had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Abram Sarmiento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mădălin Lunca was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of the match. Fabian Hansson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Jeremias Orland replaced Fabian Hansson. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 73 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Vaz made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pesqueira City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
