C.F.Fuenlabrada's Laureano Perfecto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. When Edward Västerberg came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the C.F.Fuenlabrada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Västerberg couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chile booed when C.F.Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of the match. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play. C.F.Fuenlabrada's attentive Karl Berg managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Västerberg in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes C.F.Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Karl Berg. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Torrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Torrico was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Edward Västerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match C.F.Fuenlabrada got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laureano Perfecto ran over to the corner to take the kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 60th minute, but Sebastián Torrico got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving C.F.Fuenlabrada hanging dry this time. After 68 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Indiano in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Ljungberg came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastián Torrico made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Edward Västerberg scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.F.Fuenlabrada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Orlando Casaus scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Torrico, making the score, 2-3.
