Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Brasil. After 22 minutes, Aníbal Brasil made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bittencourt in the 24th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Felipe Bittencourt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Felipe Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magne Allbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Magne Allbom made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Aníbal Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jerry Nolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Allbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
