Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Cable a Tierra got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Montiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Egoi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Egoi took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th minute Gavino Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Narciso Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Bertassi to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Paulão Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Narciso Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Bertassi couldn't finish the play. Narciso Bertassis short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 72 minutes, Leonardo Sigali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cable a Tierra and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonardo Sigali hit a great ball. Leonardo Sigali kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Paulão Laguna hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Saverio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Claudio Echeverri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
