After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Edward Västerberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Edward Västerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Västerberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. C.F.Fuenlabrada's attentive Valentin Esdras managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. If Ricard Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Västerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 34 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sebastián Torrico guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Västerberg. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A hard shot 39 in the game by Edward Västerberg from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. The supporters of Ecuador booed when C.F.Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Million didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Julien Million quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 51st minute of the game. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 55th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by C.F.Fuenlabrada's Edward Västerberg. But to his dismay, Edward Västerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastián Torrico made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Edward Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. C.F.Fuenlabrada were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Perfecto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Karl Berg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 78th minute of the match C.F.Fuenlabrada got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laureano Perfecto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Laureano Perfecto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. C.F.Fuenlabrada were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Perfecto took the corner. Karl Berg made a great header on C.F.Fuenlabrada's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82nd match minute, C.F.Fuenlabrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricard Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. Edward Västerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save C.F.Fuenlabrada from getting a goal against them. The C.F.Fuenlabrada support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
