Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gao Kun Mo started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo Leste F.C. the free kick. The supporters of São Paulo Leste F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gao Kun Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gao Kun Mo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gao Kun Mo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gao Kun Mo sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Kun Mo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Gråberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Stanislaw Turacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Coutinho scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Edvard Gråberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute. The corner led Venezuela's Jose Correa to fire away a dangerous shot which Emerson Leão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Gao Kun Mo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gao Kun Mo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. La Ele got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by David Coutinho. Edvard Gråberg had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Edvard Gråberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s La Ele got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Edvard Gråberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Paulo Leste F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Leão having to make a save.
