Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Perrucho FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Hever came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Perrucho FC's Gabriel Tomi got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 9 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Hever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Perrucho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perrucho FC's Marciano Hever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Haimar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Jimeno Haimar fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perrucho FC's protests and gave Jimeno Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Hever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Perrucho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Hever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marciano Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Hever stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Hever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Felix Montes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marciano Hever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Blas Uzuri made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Hever. Perrucho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Marciano Hever made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Perrucho FC's Marciano Hever got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Hever made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Daniel Zorita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 74th playminute. 76 minutes into the game, Florentino Blasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perrucho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Marciano Hever was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 78 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Marciano Hever threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marciano Hever didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. After 85th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Marciano Hever and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Marciano Hever in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Hever having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Perrucho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Marciano Hever in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador played a much better game than Perrucho FC and deserved their victory. The Perrucho FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
