In the 15th minute, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sacro Balompié. In the 23rd minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Galsino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacro Balompié's attentive Godfredo Viviano managed to snatch the ball when Francisco Gallo made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Joshua Miralles made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sacro Balompié's Maximiliano Chepe. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Joshua Miralles with Mario Fernandino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sacro Balompié's Jorge Udalaitz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Miralles in the 33 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 35th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Urbano Galsino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Bolivia were awarded a corner. Mario Fernandino went to the cornerflag to take it. Laureano Artal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Urbano Galsino. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Urbano Galsino. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Gaudencio Medero made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ferrant. Urbano Galsino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 72 minutes into the game, Ismael Tejedor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sacro Balompié's Godfredo Viviano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alfredo Ferrant hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ismael Tejedor made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sacro Balompié's Carlos Astrada. Mario Fernandino took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Galsino. Urbano Galsino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Urbano Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Fernandino in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jorge Udalaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Chicote came free, but Urbano Galsino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacro Balompié's Urbano Galsino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Ismael Tejedor got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Bolivia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
