Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Galsino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Hector Covarrubias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 41 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Galsino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urbano Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 45th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Galsino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Medero went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Urbano Galsino in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 minutes of play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Galsino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urbano Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 94th minute of play. Urbano Galsino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 95th minute. Paraguay played a much better game than Sacro Balompié and deserved their victory. The Sacro Balompié players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
