An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match USA got a corner. Nibiru X's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 25th minute Román Grebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Fabio Caviedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darío Friederichs was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Román Grebe came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Nibiru X fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Román Grebe couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Diego Armando Faine tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Faine. USA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabio Caviedes 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Grebe in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darío Friederichs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Darío Friederichs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 59th minute. Monty Rogers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darío Friederichs having to make a save. If Román Grebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Grebe in the 68th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Caviedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With an all-out effort, USA's Darío Friederichs threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of USA booed when Nibiru X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Bombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Godofredo Bombal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Khalid Parry. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Darío Friederichs made a huge save. Fabio Caviedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Faine came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Diego Armando Faine notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sam Campbell came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Darío Friederichs could save by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nibiru X could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
