Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zeledon Quintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Gustau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jarl Tholsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Generoso Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin. Zeledon Quintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Quintin having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Zeledon Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Marz got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Quintin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Linea 174 Ramal Castillo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Gustau to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linea 174 Ramal Castillo the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Gustau in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zeledon Quintin could save by the left post. Zeledon Quintin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Jarl Tholsson. But to his dismay, Jarl Tholsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Gustau in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. A collision led to Linea 174 Ramal Castillo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rafal Zielinski hit a great ball. Zeledon Quintin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices's late challenge caught a Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Saelices helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Trond Sørli:s penalty. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Gustau's shot from short distance in the 87th minute.
