Chipa y Tereré's Tadeo Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paolo Tximitx made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Tadeo Sesuldo got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Sesuldo. Tadeo Sesuldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Aurre in the 56th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tadeo Sesuldo made a huge save. Tadeo Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Tadeo Sesuldo to make any attempt to save it. Tadeo Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Sainz made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Francisco Seco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 68th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Tadeo Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Tadeo Sesuldo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Sesuldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Sesuldo. Tadeo Sesuldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Francisco Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeo Sesuldo. That made the score 0-8 after 78 minutes of play. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Tadeo Sesuldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Sesuldo. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 96 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Tadeo Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
