Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Luciano Azeari made a huge save. In the 15th minute Amador Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Mundo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amador Mundo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luciano Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Arnaldo Vistruario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico's Arnaldo Vistruario got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Cuarto came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Luciano Azeari made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Azeari. Barrilete Cósmico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luciano Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Azeari. Barrilete Cósmico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Fernandino in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Azeari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Azeari came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Mundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jonatan Cuarto sent off a good shot on target. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 79th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Luciano Azeari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. When Amador Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Barrilete Cósmico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Mundo couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ricardo Zorita, was totally fooled by Barrilete Cósmico's Marciano Rey, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. El Salvador were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barrilete Cósmico for a fine match.
