The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanos Kalfakis got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thanos Kalfakis in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Thanos Kalfakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanos Kalfakis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Kalfakis in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the game Sokratis Tsardikos made a throw-in which Thanos Kalfakis played forward. The audience was convinced that Thanos Kalfakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Paris Braoudakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Commandos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paris Braoudakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes The Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Stamatakos. A collision led to The Commandos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Grigoris Sourmelis hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the The Commandos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
