Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Rengifo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Patricio Costa made the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sergio Rengifo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Rengifo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Bezerra got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epifanio Cebrian charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Cebrian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Epifanio Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Laerte Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Sergio Rengifo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Epifanio Cebrian hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Laerte Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to São Paulo da Floresta getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Epifanio Cebrian hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Bezerra in the 95th minute. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching São Paulo da Floresta's performance. The match ended with a win for São Paulo da Floresta.
