With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Eyague saved AC LeX Luthor from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Mcdonald. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC LeX Luthor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play. Otto Tenno struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC LeX Luthor. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Errando's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 32nd minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Cassius Byrne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cassius Byrne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Edward Mcdonald made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Silvestre Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute AC LeX Luthor were awarded a corner. Mario Yepes went to the cornerflag to take it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Errando to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fulgencio Eyague was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alvaro Errando sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. After 77 minutes AC LeX Luthor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 80th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 81st minute of play. Marco Day was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Karl-Axel Kielstedt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Axel Kielstedt really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Yepes in the 88th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Karl-Axel Kielstedt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 88 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Marco Baker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When USA's Khalid Parry in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC LeX Luthor's goalie prevented a goal. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
