With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mosaed Bo Qamaz saved Hunters FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunters FC's Mosaed Bo Qamaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mosaed Bo Qamaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mosaed Bo Qamaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 80th match minute, Hunters FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Alves to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes in the game Jérémy Doku did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eurico Loureiro. In the 88th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mosaed Bo Qamaz, passed just outside the right post. Hunters FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
