The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luca Iosif was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Luca Iosif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd minute of the match. Vlad Mârza hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Octav Zglimbea's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Horea Malcocea made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Iosif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FERRARI's Luca Iosif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 56th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FERRARI's Luca Iosif was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
