Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. When Christian Lesardo came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Graneros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Lesardo couldn't finish the play. Graneros's Feliberto Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Perna having to interfere. Attilio Perna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Attilio Perna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Filiph Odén hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Victorino Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Graneros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Tallia couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lesardo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Graneros the free kick. The supporters of Graneros booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Tallia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Attilio Perna, passed just outside the right post. 31 minutes into the match, Graneros's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Attilio Perna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Otsando came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Feliberto Otsando made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Feliberto Otsando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Graneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Zheng Ming didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Dombrowski to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Tallia got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Graneros's performance. The match ended with a win for Graneros.
