Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ion Oniga started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Tinu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Miercani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Abutnăriței didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Oniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Miercani got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Timofte. 21 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grigore Constantin. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Timofte in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Horia Zăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Narcis Timofte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Grigore Constantin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of play. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Tinu in the 43rd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Miercani's Marian Tinu. But to his dismay, Marian Tinu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Miercani were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. 55 minutes into the match, Miercani's Nichifor Abutnăriței sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Oniga in the 58th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Albert Marioteanu made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Grigore Constantin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Ion Oniga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Constantin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Marian Tinu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Constantin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ion Oniga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 85th minute of play forced Miercani's goalkeeper Grigore Constantin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iosif Pacuraru. Iosif Pacuraru kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nichifor Abutnăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Miercani eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
