Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, LA InDuStRiA INC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Raimundo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Cristobal Lalla made the kick off in the second half. LA InDuStRiA INC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Leoncio took the corner.
