Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Villa got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Villa. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when David Villa scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 6th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Juan Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Riquelme in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Héctor Barra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Héctor Barra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abram Sarmiento spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Capo de Provincia's goal. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Héctor Barra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abram Sarmiento 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, David Villa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Héctor Barra made a huge save. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After 84 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was César Pretot who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Epifanío Mejia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanío Mejia in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Christiano Cabañas hit a great ball. Capo de Provincia's Próspero Imaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 91 minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Próspero Imaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanío Mejia came free in the 98th minute and tried to tip the ball over Pedro Manzanares, but to the joy of Colombia's supporters the ball went over. Capo de Provincia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
