Dibag Martinez was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Dybala in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Paredes in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Lautaro Martinez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Scaloneta were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leandro Paredes took the corner. Marcos Acuña made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ángel-Fabián Di María however managed to control. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Scaloneta fully deserved thier win.
