Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) David Villa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capo de Provincia's Juan Riquelme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Manzanares but with some difficulty. When Luis Jiménez came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Jiménez couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 24th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Capo de Provincia's David Villa. But to his dismay, David Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Capo de Provincia defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Héctor Barra. The Capo de Provincia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Héctor Barra should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. César Pretot hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Héctor Barra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes of play, Colombia's Santino Seco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Héctor Barra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Riquelme in the 52nd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Jiménez in the 54th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Héctor Barra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Héctor Barra didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Alejandro Martxelin scored 3-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. After 71 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cazalla. Alejandro Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Capo de Provincia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Martxelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Martxelin scored 6-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Héctor Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
