In the 13th play minute Julian Murillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Héctor Barra. 1-0. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra managed to reach the ball for a save. When Luis Jiménez came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Capo de Provincia's Christiano Cabañas was substituted for Luis Jiménez. In the 65th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 71st minute of play. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Héctor Barra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Alejandro Martxelin might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Martxelin ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Martxelin. After 77 minutes, Eder Garland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capo de Provincia and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Capo de Provincia's Fazil App managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmanuel Reyes in the 97 minute of the game. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
