Haiti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Gualterio Mundo scored to the left of an out of position Noel Seide, making the score, 3-1. The RIVER PLATE FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when RIVER PLATE FC's Nicolas Llin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, Natalio Mendiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Mendiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 28 minutes into the match, Gualterio Mundo notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Ernso Constant charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernso Constant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RIVER PLATE FC booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Llin was the one to do the kick off. If Gualterio Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Llin in the 57th minute of play. Gualterio Mundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Mundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Mendiko in the 70th minute of play. Saint Jean Pierre's late challenge caught a RIVER PLATE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saint Jean Pierre helped the player get up and apologised. Jean Claude Ulysse kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Heriberto in the 74th minute of the match.
