Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas Llin got the match started through his kick off. In the 21st minute Gualterio Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Nicolas Llin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Llin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 25thth minute of the game Nicolas Llin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marshall Graham hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes RIVER PLATE FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Mendiko. 36 minutes into the game, Gualterio Mundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Aguilera. Rocco Owen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. 43 minutes into the match, Gualterio Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Mendiko in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. Gualterio Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Nicolas Llin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Gualterio Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Gualterio Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, RIVER PLATE FC's Nicolas Llin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. In the 65th minute, Kyle Davies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Gualterio Mundo rounded Curacao's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Mundo in the 72nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 75th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE FC's goalkeeper Gaston Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Gaston Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Mundo in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Curacao's Stanley Wallace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-10. 89 minutes into the game, Charles Cox was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER PLATE FC the free kick. In the 90th minute, Nicolas Llin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Llins short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Natalio Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Llin in the 95th minute. RIVER PLATE FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
