The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Macias in the 13th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Christian Sancho in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Diego Eterno's Jairo Kiliz. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Joel Macias sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Lio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wei Liang Qian hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Santikurtz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goalkeeper Modesto Santikurtz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Bello Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Joel Macias came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Diego Eterno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Macias couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Armando Lio in the 77 minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cosme Fulanito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Cosme Fulanito kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
