Panama were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Diego Eterno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Modesto Santikurtz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Diego Eterno defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Santikurtz. The Diego Eterno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Santikurtz should have stopped the shot. Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Macias in the 17th minute of play. Cosme Fulanito hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 19th minute. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Santikurtz. Diego Eterno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Modesto Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Fulanito during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Diego Eterno got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Fulanito. In the 34th minute, Cosme Fulanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cosme Fulanito hit a great ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Bello Tajo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bello Tajo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 46th minute of the match, Cosme Fulanito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Macias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adan Piarres fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diego Eterno's protests and gave Adan Piarres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Piarres to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Santikurtz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Santikurtz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Modesto Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Modesto Santikurtz. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Diego Eterno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
