Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. The Sport Club Mavericks fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Zézinho Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sílvio Luiz de Godoi who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dre Schipmans in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dre Schipmans in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lopez in the 27th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Lopez went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Fernando Lucas managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Zézinho Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zézinho Lopez made the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dre Schipmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Dre Schipmans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. 68 minutes into the match, Zhuo Yin Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhuo Yin Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez. But to his dismay, Zézinho Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Arnaldo Baiano managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Zézinho Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Zhuo Yin Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85th play minutes Zhuo Yin Hong shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Zézinho Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Zézinho Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Zézinho Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zézinho Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Zhuo Yin Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuo Yin Hong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
