Guillermo Farré was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Guillermo Farré almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio did a great save. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Ronaldão Peres with Anton Erkmann as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Antonio Giorgio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 21st minute of the match.
