Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abel Ramalho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abel Ramalho scored 3-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Abel Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Ekhi saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. Anísio Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Ekhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Doron Bantz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Noboa. Peru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Anísio Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho. But to his dismay, Abel Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 41st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Ekhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Peru's Milagros Fraga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer in the 51 minute of the game. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Andres Ekhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori was substituted for Abel Ramalho. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer, made in the 66th minute of the game. After 70 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Ekhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Eusebio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After some careless play in the Ricart Futebol Clube defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Ekhi. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Ekhi should have stopped the shot. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 89th minute of play. Eusebio Hori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ekhi having to interfere.
