A sloppy throw-in by Alonzo Gomesano in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peter Blomkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Blomkvist came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Peru and the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 48 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 48 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Pietro Salles replaced Peter Blomkvist. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pietro Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Oliviero came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Gomesano got a throw-in 97 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sergio Saturno. William Lebigot took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
