The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cauã Veloso in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Cauã Veloso threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Askild Bødtkjer in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cauã Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauã Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cauã Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Eminescu Teleagă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Askild Bødtkjer in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauã Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Güral Revan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güral Revan in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Güral Revan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of play forced BRONCOS's goalkeeper Cauã Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after BRONCOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 54thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güral Revan got free with Dante Lacasa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. Anthony Dumont's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauã Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 66 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 67th minute. BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 69th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Güral Revan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. BRONCOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Facundo Cadaval heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cauã Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to BRONCOS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ronald Bryner hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eminescu Teleagă during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BRONCOS's Eminescu Teleagă got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while BRONCOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
