Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauan Rosa to make the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karni Yair in the 61st minute of play. Jarbas Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarbas Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dustin Zentner hit a great ball. Chile played a much better game than Xurupita FC and deserved their victory. The Xurupita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
