Marco Day was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Jarl Rossebø capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarl Rossebø really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Daniel Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
