Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Coleira started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Ungia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Justino Ungia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the game, Teofilo Coleira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Ungia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Goyo Salais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sugamuxi fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Sugamuxi's Teofilo Coleira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Goyo Salais. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Coleira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Justino Ungia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a rather tough play, Sugamuxi's Nataniel Hormaza got a free kick in the 27th minute. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Justino Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 31st minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Coleira in the 35th minute of play. Justino Ungia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 38th minute of play. Reuben Billington kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sugamuxi's Nataniel Hormaza got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sugamuxi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Hori Guillemez came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goyo Salais in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sugamuxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nataniel Hormaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Coleira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Coleira went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hori Guillemez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 73rd minute. Teofilo Coleira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Coleira in the 79th minute of the match. With his leg Justino Ungia managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Justino Ungia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 87th minute. Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sugamuxi from getting a goal against them. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Justino Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sugamuxi had won after a very even match.
