Jorge Pires hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Abraham Alguacil scored to the left of an out of position Christian Orlan, making the score, 1-2. 23 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Udo Nigula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 29th minute of the match. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 34th minute. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Leo Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Christian Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. 47 minutes into the match, Zhuo Chao Chuan notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Renato Quadros replaced Jorge Pires. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhuo Chao Chuan made a kick off. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Zhuo Chao Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma was substituted for Udo Nigula. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 82nd minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 87th minute of play. Leo Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
