After a rather tough play, Sugamuxi's Goiz Berdu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Teofilo Coleira scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hori Guillemez in the 23rd minute of the match. Justino Ungia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sugamuxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedillo Galan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. When Kevin Carballal fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Kevin Carballal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Hori Guillemez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sugamuxi's goalkeeper Justino Ungia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Ungia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hori Guillemez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
